A drug called Filagra is used to treat male erectile dysfunction (ED). It helps create and sustain a hard erection by boosting blood flow to the penis during sexual stimulation. It contains sildenafil citrate, the same active ingredient as in Viagra. Filagra should be taken 30 to 60 minutes prior to sexual activity. It comes in several strengths, such as 100 mg and 200 mg. Its effects might continue for 4 to 6 hours.
It works best when eaten on an empty stomach and should only be taken once every 24 hours. Heavy meals and alcohol consumption may decrease its efficacy or raise the possibility of adverse consequences. Headache, flushing, nasal congestion, and lightheadedness are typical adverse effects. Although they are uncommon, more severe side effects including visual problems or extended erections need to be treated right once. Use Filagra only under a doctor's supervision, particularly if you are taking other drugs or have heart issues.
